Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 4 large patties.
Place patties on oiled grill. Grill over medium-high heat 4-6 minutes on each side, until a digital thermometer inserted in the centre of the burger reads a temperature of 74C (165F). Serve with Mozzarella cheese and red pepper slices, if desired.
